This is a 'Pay what you feel' workshop for adults funded by CAVO Cardigan Town Grant.
Join us for an evening walk to experience the magic of biofluorescence. We are in the minority of animals who are unable to see biofluorescence, but with the aid of a uv torch this magical world will come to life, revealing incredible colours and a new way of experiencing nature.
This event will use UV torch light to view nature at night. If you have a high sensitivity to light, please take this into account when deciding to book this event.
We will meet at The Castle Pub in Cardigan, next to the bridge, and from here we will take a walk to see what we can find, and have a cosy drink in the pub. (drink not included in the ticket)
Please dress warmly and bring a torch, it will be dark!

This will be a very special workshop with Kristina Riddington leading the clay and Jade Mellor leading the aromatic water.A relaxed day of making in the woods, with sensory delights and the alchemy of Copper and Clay. Connecting us more deeply with ourselves, each other and the more than human world.

Copper:Using the centuries old technique we will be using a copper elembic to create an aromatic water to take home. This is the same technique used to made essential oils.
Clay:We'll be hand building clay oil burners, using the pinch pot technique. This is a beautifully simple and meditative way of making which allows us to really connect with the clay. It is versatile and totally addictive! You'll leave your finished piece with us to dry, sand, fire and glaze. We will email you to let you know when they are ready to collect, in approximately 3 weeks. This is an adults only day with two concessionary places available, please get in touch if you need a concessionary place.
